The goal of the “Software DNA” project is to create a new product for the anticipatory controlling and steering of software development activities.
In practice, such software development projects rely on a process model which involves a variety of stakeholders in various roles and fields of expertise. Oftentimes, more than a hundred experts participate in a single project. In our “Software-DNA” project, characteristics of software projects are automatically extracted from data traces found in the development infrastructures and subsequentially processe with the overall goal to apply predictive and prescriptive analytics approaches and to transfer software engineering knowledge from one software project to another.
Seerene is supported with funds from the State of Brandenburg
and the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRE).
