Internal software production underlies many of the largest economic challenges facing large organisations today. For European industry, the question is no longer whether software matters at the board level, but how to govern it there. The Klausurtagung Konzernstrategie at Schloss Fürstlich Drehna brought together senior executives from across European industry for a closed, invitation-only session to confront this directly: how to take strategic ownership of software as a management discipline, and what it means for corporate responsibility in the age of AI.
