WoW: Seerene pitches to the best IT professionals in Berlin and Brandenburg
On October 27, 2016, Seerene will open their doors to the IT professionals of tomorrow. As part of the annual event “Web-on-Wheels”, students and graduates of computer science, software engineering and related fields have the opportunity to discover the most attractive employers in Berlin and Brandenburg.
Shuttle busses will take the job seekers to 12 different companies that are part of the Berlin digital economy. The Seerene team will welcome the group at the Factory, a well-known startup campus in Berlin-Mitte. “Web-on-Wheels” is part of a series of recruiting events under the name IT Job Shuttle which has taken place annually in the capital since 2012.
“For us it is great to be a part of Web-on-wheels this year and to have the opportunity to tell young students and graduates about our company,” said Oliver Muhr, CEO of Seerene. “Our business model and our SaaS (software as a service) platform are designed to support the largest and most prominent companies in the world in the process of digital transformation. For this task, we need the best developers the Berlin-Brandenburg region has to offer. We are competing with many other companies, especially in Berlin. That’s why it is so important to convey the power and potential of the software we have developed based on research from the Hasso-Plattner-Institute and how this software will change the world of business forever.”
“We are in the fortunate position to provide young developers with a job at the forefront of technological development concerning Analytics,” explained Wolfgang Kerner, Director Recruitment & Employer Branding at Seerene. “We do not adjust developers to a static matrix, we are looking for ambitious professionals who bring a good attitude and have specialized not only in one programming language. In our view, developers are also something like technological artists who develop something that emerges from the various machine languages. Our technology is a world leader, we have offices in Berlin, Potsdam, New York and Hong Kong, and we are on the lookout for the best talent globally.”
